How it works
- The paint applicator is driven into the cleaner at the top of the RPG Cleaner, thus sealing and positioning relative to the impeller (cleansing sprayer). The seal system is also the drying apparatus
- The cleaning cycle uses plant solvent and compressed air to operate the cleaner
- If used during a color change, then the applicator can load next color by triggering inside the RPG Cleaner to capture paint before final cleaning is complete. The drain system releases air and collects the discharge products of cleaning and directs it to the solvent recovery system
-
The configuration is customer applicator specific:
- The seal and drying system is selected to interface with a given applicator
- The impeller is chosen to produce best in class cleaning for the chosen applicator. Impellers have an array of high impact cleaning nozzles. Each impeller type cuts a unique cleaning path as it rotates. This aggressive approach reduces cycle time.
